Best part of Live 8? The complete silence and contempt shown by the Italian crowd as country singer Tim McGraw performs in Rome. I mean, what did they expect?
Actually, I missed much of it, but I heard (on XM radio) the London show, including the big Pink Floyd set. It's odd how badly vocals come out when listening to a live performance on the radio. Guitars and drums and all the rest sound fine, but vocals just get muddled. Go figure.
