Americans are idiots. That's the only conclusion I can draw from the latest poll numbers, which show that a majority of voters would reelect GW Bush, the worst president in the country's history. What the fuck? Does anything matter to these people beyond "likeability"? Bush is more personable than John Kerry, so the feel "more comfortable" voting for him? That's why I NEVER vote for personalities. When you elect a president, you elect a party and its agenda; the president is merely the figurehead, the public voice, on that agenda. To vote for Bush and ignore the reactionary, greedy agenda of the Republican Party is idiotic. Who cares if Kerry is boring? The Democrats might not be perfect, but at least they do not start every conversation with the words, "How will this make us money?"
So, Americans out there, ignore the people you're voting for; vote for the ideology that best represents your views. And, please, don't be an idiot.
